What to Expect

Hello, thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website. 

My name is Nancy and I am a natural light on location and studio photographer. Each of my sessions is customized and styled specifically for each of my clients.

I like to use the highest quality natural fibers and minimal props during my sessions. My focus is always on my subject and never on props or setups that can take away from the beauty of a tiny baby, or the smallness of your child. I aim to capture the beauty in the smallest details of your family and do so in an authentic and creative way. 

I love all things photography and feel complete with my camera in my hands. I live for sunset sessions and anything to do with a tiny newborn. It is never too early to book your session with me. 

On the day of your session:
I will reserve a selected amount of time just for you.  We will laugh together, and play together. I may be silly, and make crazy unheard of noises and get down on the ground and get dirty but its all for that perfect smile. 

We will usually start out in a posed position  but I mostly want to see you and your family play together and be yourself, my goal is to capture you as you are interacting together and loving each other as you do on a daily basis.   Your session is never rushed or hectic, I want everyone to have fun and enjoy their session time. 

Newborns often take a bit of time to get into the perfect sweet dream land and so on the day of your newborn session we will work together to get your baby to sleep and then mama & dad can sit back and watch the magic that is newborn photography. I will do many poses and use many props, If there are certain props you would like me to try it is helpful to know at the booking of your session, as themes and props take time and preparation.I prefer to focus on the baby and therefore do not use large props that will take away from the focus of your infant. 

I will post a "sneak peak" photo or two on facebook usually within 24 hours for you to view. Editing of your images can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks for the final disk to reach you by mail. 

Your session payment is due before your session begins and should always be in the correct amount of cash as this assist us in keeping prices as affordable as possible, if you prefer to pay by card we can do that too, just let us know ahead of time. A non refundable deposit of 25.00 is due at the time of booking. Your deposit will go towards the cost of your session.
